Ugh, it all went to hell for Canterbury, when they first called themselves the Dragons.

And secondly by keeping around old has-beens like Andy Pitman, him and his coach at his club have driven away some of the most talented young footballers in Canterbury, all because they won't look to the future. He's a nutter, plain and simple.
And as for getting that snake Stu Kelly back, what the hell. He ups and leaves when Canterbury need him most last year, then breaks his league, and comes back like he's goddamn Jesus or something.

What a laugh

Thats a bit harsh, considering your name you probably have a few issues behind the scenes.

I don't have a problem with Mr Pitman, he is one of the few that will get up and try.

As for Mr Kelly, yes I thought that is a tad funny about him walking out on the club without giving any notice, and then being welcomed back with open arms.  Mind you, we'll probably take anyone at this stage...

Check this out bout Stu Kelly:  Random.

There is still no place, however, for Scottish midfielder-striker Stuart Kelly despite the Dragons' dearth of goals. Monsef said Kelly was still "officially" a Canterbury United player although he was "non-active" and not training with the squad.

"He just hasn't been picked from the outset. That's a choice of myself, from a technical perspective and from where I believe Stu's at at this moment. But it's a process we will work through and come to a conclusion."

That'd be correct yup :)

As for Stu Kelly, good riddance. Yes he's a good footballer, but also a class A prat.

At the same time however, Koureschhhh Monsef has his favourites (see Chris Sinclair starting in goal, wtf, the guys a good goalie, but he's only 5'8). And it was probably a battle of the egos with Kelly.

Comments come from being coached by Monsef one season, and playing against Kelly, and seeing him play for a few years. Could be well wrong, but seems that way to me.

Canterbury vs Wellington at English Park, 3pm (I think), who's going?  If I'm free I might head down, but seriously, I can't believe how badly Canterbury are now going.  We nearly one the competition in the days with Brockie, Barron, and Sigmund and now we're last.  They need to sort it out behind the scenes. loyalgunner2008-11-30 14:41:26

Especially now that we have lost "Sinatra" Kelly. Rumour has it he is trying to pick up a spot at Otago.

We shoulda whipped those Westies! We only lost 2 - 0 to the Phoenix, not 7 - 0 like those soft Auckland wowsers.
