HBU - WeeNix 3:2 in Palmy today. Two penalties for HBU. The young Nix dominated the posession, but HBU created more chances (missed 2-3 one-on-ones). I thought the HBU played better last week against the TW, but I hear they had a rather tough week training and focusing on fitness. They looked a bit tired...

Not sure that is a fear call, I could name at least 6 dozen lads probably under 24/25 from HB that have played at national league level for different franchise, but no longer level in the bay.

Just watched the highlights on SKY. Don't want and cannot comment on other games, but the SKY TV reporting on HBU vs TU game was utter rubbish.
Painted the picture of an evenly contested game in which the HBU in the end escaped with a draw after the TU missed that late penalty.
What was shown on TV was a "miss of the season" for HBU (which it was not), goals (of course) , missed penalty for TU and one half-chance for HBU. And of course, a good doze of "evil Brett Angel".
The fact that HBU missed another 2-3 basically point blank chances doesn't seem to interest SKY TV at all.
Incompetent at best...At worst - I don't even want to talk about it.
If Angell is banned from the sideline against Canty Utd this weekend for the second year in a row I'll be asking for my season ticket price back.

It is clear the SKY think it is more important to show the moment when Brett was sent off than showing another several situations in front of TU goal. The story from the game : a complete domination by HBU and some good football, the SKY story - an average game with very few chances, but that doesn't matter so much, what matters is - that coach was sent off again !

What I would say about the sending off though, is that given it's Angell's 3rd in 2 seasons that's why they are focusing on it, that and he has built himself a reputation off "going of on one" which always makes good TV - and people who are neutral would probably rather see his reactions than a near miss by a Hawke's Bay United player
