Graham will be wearing number 27 with Ascoli. Didn't find any mention of Nicholas Del Moro in any section of Ascoli calcio

Perhaps not surprising - clubs don't update their youth squad lists very often but since Kiwi 17 year-old Del Moro is listed as transferred to Ascoli on both a comprehensive transfer list site and a fans' forum, would think it's pretty certain..
No appearances for Graham in any matchday squads yet - early days...

ASCOLI, FROM NEW ZEALAND, HERE IS LIAM GRAHAM

"To land in series B is a big step, I will try to do well with Ascoli -" After two years in the Primavera youth championship, joining Serie B is a big step for a player, I'm very excited about this new adventure."  These are the first words of Liam Graham, born August 14, 1992 in Melbourne, recently arrived at the court of Massimo Silva.  The defender arrives at Ascoli after two seasons in the youth team of Vicenza.

"I want to prove that I deserve to be here, I will try to do well with Ascoli. My role is to fifth right midfielder in the 3-5-2, I like to run along the line."   "Last year I could begin with the first team of Vicenza at the end of season but an injury stopped me. During the holidays I spoke with my agent who told me to come to Ascoli."  The player was also a member of the Olympic team of New Zealand and the Under 20.

SPEZIA-ASCOLI

Never seen him play but a 21 year old kiwi in a Serie B squad must be doing something OK. Also someone forked out 100,000 as a transfer so they think he is OK. Trouble is I doubt NZF would have any scout contacts looking at Serie B so he is unlikely to get a look in for NZ squads

Ricki's got a bit of time on his hands after the two AW games now.  Would be a good time to come to Europe and properly scout some of the Kiwi's we talk about that have yet to wear the Fern at AW level.

No I agree, but it would be in NZs interest for him to take a look at the likes of Herderson, Graham and others who are on the radar at youth/national level as lets be honest NZF is more dependant on us then their own eyes for scouting (Fitzgerald being a classic case).

Graham on the bench last weekend in Ascoli's 3-0 away loss to Livorno in serie B - his sixth appearance on the bench since his first one on January 26 v Bari.

http://www.transfermarkt.com/en/liam-graham/leistungsdaten/spieler_101658.html

Ascoli currently 19th in the 22 team league (a place above Graham's last team Vicenza who were relegated to Serie B last season).

They seem to do things a bit differently in Italian football with players more involved in local cultural activities - Liam Graham and several team -mates are involved in local amateur dramatics, putting on a production of the English classic "The Canterville Ghost" (I've seen the movie on Turner Classic Movies with Charles Laughton).

Liam's playing "Lord Gray" apparently. Love it...

Where else in the world do "three young Australian players on trial" get thrown into a theatre production? Or rehearsals get held up because the team's manager was sacked that day?

26/03/2013               ON STAGE:
Although the ranking is not the best, the Bianconeri carry the weekly commitment with the humanitarian project "DIFFERENTLY ON STAGE", an event that the team has not been able to meet on Wednesday, the day of dismissal of Mr. Silva, but to whom, however, not want to miss the representatives of the two associations non-profit organization. This week the meeting with "DIFFERENTLY ON STAGE" was brought forward to today, for tomorrow will already be on the eve of the commitment of the championship with the Grosseto.
Present this morning, in addition to representatives of the two associations AIPD ANFFAS of Teramo and Ascoli Piceno, David Dove, Liam Graham, Thomas Morosini, Lorenzo Pasqualini, Maurizio Peccarisi, Luca Ricci and Andrea Soncin.  Today there were also new entry: This is the goalkeeper Marcel De Bellis, who has been assigned the role of the fake Canterville Ghost, originally played by Morosini. They are, in fact, made necessary changes in the allocation of shares: Morosini interpret Mr. Dampier, initially Liam Graham and the latter will be forced to study in great haste by Lord Gray. . Will be included in the representation, in the role of waiters English castle, three young Australians, who are doing a trial period with the Caps black and white and will remain in Ascoli Piceno until next May 31.  This is Nicholas Ambrose, Harley and Mark Orr Santalucia, who attended with interest the review of these scenes and that the next meeting will be on stage to play their respective roles.
This morning have been tested many costumes to get more familiar movements on stage and to have a complete idea of ??the accessories that are missing in view of the pre-show, which will be staged at the end of the season.
. The mood of the Bianconeri was not the best, but it is in these moments that acquires greater value their commitment to the voluntary and social.

I couldn't give a shit if the whole ACFC squad was from uzbekistan, the fact is, this is a thread about Liam Graham and David is using it to slag off ACFC which is a completely unrelated subject and probably goes against his own 'rules' of this forum.

Graham an unused sub again in 1-0 away loss to his former club Vicenza Tues. 16 last week and not in squad for home game this week on Monday night in 1-0 loss vs. Padova

http://int.soccerway.com/teams/italy/ascoli-calcio/

With four matches remaining this season, Ascoli sit at 19th on the 22 team table, just outside the bottom three relegation zone.

Yay!!! Liam Graham finally makes his debut for Ascoli in Serie B.

Came on as a 77th minute sub in a 5-0 home loss to third place Verona on Saturday:

http://int.soccerway.com/matches/2013/04/27/italy/serie-b/ascoli-calcio/hellas-verona-fc/1357952/

Ascoli conceded all five goals in the first 40 mins, so thankfully none of them were his fault...

With three games left, Ascoli's position remains unchanged, sitting in 19th place, two points above 20th placed Vicenza and the bottom three relegation places. Remaining games:

Sun05/05/13
Bresciav Ascoli
Sun12/05/13
Ascoli v Ternana
Sun19/05/13
Cittadella v Ascoli

The bottom three places lead to direct relegation. The next two (18th and 19th) lead to a relegation play-off unless the 18th placed team is 5 points ahead of the 19th placed team at the end of the season, in which case the 19th placed team gets directly relegated too. Ascoli is currently 2 points behind Reggina in the 18th with 3 games to go, so not in danger on that front just yet. But the safety of the 17th spot is 5 points away, that's looking a bit too much left to do.
