Worth noting quite a few of these are first teamers who didn't travel to Honiara. So not that accurate to say it's ACFC II

Angus Kilkolly is in the *reserves*? That's a statement of strength

Ramming liberal dribble down your throat since 2009
This forum needs less angst and more Kate Bush threads

But, but, but... they're all on 000's courtesy of Trillion. Aren't they?

The match against Western Springs was originally scheduled for Wednesday, May 14, but with a dozen City first-team players not travelling to the Champions League (Honiara) – in some cases because they needed to save annual leave to attend the Club World Cup – they approached their opponents about bringing it forward to ease fixture congestion as they get closer to the marquee tournament.

I'm loving that nzf have employed someone that actually seems to be willing to get scores and table updated in a decent time frame...

Anyone know what the rules are in regards to first team players from the A league teams dropping down to the reserves? Thought we might have seen some first teamers from Auckland drop down since they have a large number of players that haven't had huge game time

In the Northern League/Central League, the only professional players who can drop down are an unlimited number of scholarship contract players aged under-21 (that is, born 2004 or later) and up to three full contract players who are aged under-21 and New Zealand citizens (but no more than eight such players in total)

Scholarship players aged under-21 are Knowles, Coulibaly, McKenlay, Middleton and Bidois for Auckland FC and Boon, Loke, Smith, Brooke-Smith, Sloane-Rodrigies, Supyk and Walker for Wellington Phoenix

Only the Phoenix have players who are on full contracts, aged under-21 and New Zealand citizens: Hughes, A Kelly-Heald, L Kelly-Heald, Sheridan

It was 1-0 to Rewa when Christian Rodriguez scored on 19’ but Death struck back (23’) for a 1-1 half-time scoreline. Death once again showed no mercy to put Rangers in front (62’) but that was followed by Keen Mandizvidza’s fourth of the campaign (65’) to have it all tied up once again. … However, Death had the final say in the 72nd minute of the match to seal a valuable victory for West Coast Rangers.

Tough league.

Nice strike from LBS for a goal for the Nix reserves.

But the best is the last one a lovely team goal by Wanaka that starts with their GK playing it out. Is Ole's Benn Sippola their coach? Very pretty backdrop to their ground as well.

Doing wonders with Wanaka FC

As in a National League without regional stages? Unless I'm misunderstanding here

So going back to a winter national league 2027. That might change up the Central League a bit!

I'm guessing this is from a source as I can't find anything online about it?

Is this going to mean a format change from the current regional and Championship phases?

And what is the reason for the changes?
