"Congratulations to Tristan Prattley on being selected to attend a residential NZ camp on 7 Feb to 10 Feb. Otago United wishes Tristan all success after being selected for the NZ squad to play a friendly against Saudi Arabia in Melbourne."

to think this lad wasn't picked initially & the likes of Jordan Sweeney & Steve Kibby were...you really have to wonder about McGarry eh

I actually told people at the Canty game that Otago lost 2-1 after I saw your post and just thought the NZFC site had the wrong day...

Did you know our own Plainsman Andrew Brook has been to more Otago United trainings than the actual coach Richard Murray Fact!brookside2012-02-06 19:43:35

I have been quoted saying "Mosgiel will win the 2012 SPL" and I (being Brookie) firmly believe I have recruited carefully and we have a strong squad.brookside2012-03-19 18:03:16

"Dunedin side" hmmmm, Mosgiel is a bit like the San Marino an enclave with more bogans and probably higher unemployment

Mosgiel has always produced some good juniors but yet always struggled to keep them..Rickerby,Cunningham.C Wheeler are all proof of this.I think the poo corner bogans were a big factor in this

Gee it's all doom and gloom. Might drive across and watch this one. Certainly the boys have fallen away after the great start but they can get a result in Napier I think - maybe just need to be a bit more clinical putting away chances - from the Waikato and Wellington reports it seems they could have won both with a bit of luck.

shame about Spirt liked going on them piss trips, as for OU think the players might as well go back to there winter clubs as the seasons all over for them now.
Picking the bay to be strong at the backa and OU have know idea what to do when they get out mussled. Shame as they got off to a great start.
Any ideas on who potted them in to lose that 1 point against wellington?????

I've made the starting line up this week , Mat Joy and I will dominate , HB wont score. I'm picking a 2 - 0 win to OU

And a good piss up to boot

Cripes big turn around first Fitzpatrick chips evans from 20 m for some reason then we fail to clear a cross and it's 2-2 we are tired now and heat is killing us then two breaks by them and it's 4-2 down shames we were good for 60 but their possession took its toll

Underground information here. But the Great Pete Evans has lodged a transfer from Roslyn to Mosgiel. Got the paperwork late friday night. We are looking like real title contenders now.

Brookside (Andy) Why would you want him for when you have got a good keeper already, besides I cant see him moving out to the once mighty plains. I heard he and Micky dont get on with each other.
We will all have to wait till the start of the winter seasons to find out the real transfers.

PS Dont forget to watch me on Sunday nights at 9.30pm
