Matt Brook clearly the best player in Dunedin. Deserves his shot in Australia and the States. Will go all the way and make the world 11. New Zealands greatest player when its all said and done. The fire torch's legacy will live on.

Breaking news big Pete Evans to play in first pre season game tomorrow against Northern, heard he has pulled the pin for not being in the starting X1 anymore. Game is at Prostpect Park @ 12.30
That is FACT
Hi All, spoken to Pete tonight at the club that was a vicious rumour i heard and i should of checked my facts before broadcasting the news. He will return to the 2012 Premiers once his committments have finshed with OU.

What is a milk cup team anyways? This is the perfect time to link the two leagues in the South Island and they going to go for a bye and random friendlies?

There were three teams not keen to play the Milk Cup boys Green Island, Northern and us.
We feel is is a waste of time playing school boys where the possabilty of only getting injured is not in our best interest. Hope this helps

They aren't part of the comp are they? So why not just put out your own development players and some of the first team squad guys that need game time?

Good call NatPevin, can understand Green Island & Northern not wanting to play, they would most likely get beaten

To the Down Syndrome members of this thread (Mosgoilians)..
Has Joel Stevens transferred to The Plainsman?

I think it is hypocritical the way Roslyn is acting. I have voiced my opinion to the people at the club but it looks like it has landed on deaf ears. Over half the Roslyn first team are players that have gone to the milk cup and have improved immensely because of this. Letting the milk cup team play in the league improves the young players so they can compete against Europes best.

Been talking to Super Morgie down Port this morning, must say he looked great holding the stop/go sign, anyway back on track. Morgie is primed for training tonight and looking to bring his shooting boots. BUT he did say if he was dropped for this weekends game again he would QUIT and go back to Mosgiel. I for one would welcome him back with open arms.

Hey guys just to clear things up Northern never said they wouldnt play the milk cup team, in fact they thought it was a great idea, the only club who said no straight up was Green Island. Also just for those of you who actually believe that Brookside is Andrew brooks (blatently isnt) its not. That is all, Peace!

Seems like RachaelFC seems to be making things up in regards to the Milk Cup lads (thanks Inigo you must be from Northern) for clearing this up.
Green Island what are they thinking, I for one would think they would be keen to foster the local young talent, as they have a young team in the 4ths last year that won the league, well maybe it is all down to Malcolm for not wanting to play them. Well for me two teams I really want to beat this season is GI and Roslyn, both pack of dickheads

Well, calling all fans to turn up to watch OU play the last home game for this season against Jaffa FC the boys really would love to see a massive crowd to cheer them on to be the first team to beat the over rated JAFFAS, Come on OTAGO UNITED
