The blue vs green game was a very good combatitive game.
Green has improved and with a fully fit Donnie, returning Joel and a import fromAussie they will surprise a few teams. Blue are quite good but lack enough to get higher than 3rd at best.
southland Player of the year looked forlorn on the bench.

Good result today 6-0 about time we clicked into gear and scored a few. Welcome back James Govan two great finishes from the sidefoot king. To be fair to Norzern they didnt play their best and lacked intensity from the outset. Perhaps the tech result last week took alot out of them.

Can anyone offer a report from Tonga park? I hear tech scored first but thats all ive heard.

Judda? Fixer? Rugbyman? Whos out there...

Talked to my old mate the Fridgerator. Tech were all over them in the first half and should have been 4-0 up. Second half and Cavvy clawed their way back in with sheer workrate. Rodeka wacked in the equalizer with a sharp finish and then it could have been anyones at the death. Fridgey is gutted and pissed Cavvy weren't down to 10 men, but reckons once Myers is back they will run away with it.

"Caversham came out after halftime full of fizz, and none more so than captain Seamus Ryder who covered every blade of grass. Always a technically excellent player, Ryder stretched his game from ' box to box' and inspired his side."

By the looks of things nobody wants to win the league this year. everyone dropping points the fodder at the bottom. In saying that is it season over for Roslyn if theyr beaten by Mosgiel this weekend? would likely see them 7 points back. Hope it is the case, bit of a nothing club really....

Grumpy Old Mens Club 1 Scarfies 3 (big upset)
Onion Breath 0 Cavvy 2 (improving Shrek fans but not enough going forward, will get caught out)
Underdones 2 Mongols 1 (The Horse's midfield is too strong for the Blues)
BumbleBees 1 Butlins 1 (Butlins to improve and will get a point)

Dino, some good predictions there. Can you enlighten me as to why you refer to Tech as the grumpy old mens club and Roslyn as the underdones?

Tech 2 Varsity 0
GI 0 Cavy 3
Ros 2 Mosgiel 3
Braes 0 Queenstown 0

RedRum..
Its a Frotters and Gerries tarnish to the Tech boys. One of the older teams in the comp.

Underdones, or under performers, meant to be one of the top three more like it is top two and they are mid tier.

The title race is well and truly on this season... Strong performances by GI and Braes to start things off, but my guess is University are the ones to watch in 2012.

Nat, how is the YF Forum Table looking after last week.
Just like my footie career ill be propping up the bottom of the table..

The Onion Boys are looking to bolster the midfield with a young Aussie from one of the ALEague youth teams, might already be here. Junior  Horse (Joel) is meant to be back in a couple of weeks.
From a non believer, Cody owned the Mosgiel midfield.

Seems like Roslyn are getting lucky tommorow. Mosgiel have 2 or 3 away at a wedding up in Wanaka. Not sure the lads are that are away but am attempting to find that out.

Yes it does appear that Mosgiel will be slightly gutted this weekend. The Day brothers will be absent from the midfield as to a family wedding. However, Mathew Woodhead is back from injury and has impressed at training this week. Obviously been wooking hard in the gym and looks in top shape for the weekend showdown.

Yarn.

Although i remain a big fan of woodys left peg, which has scored many goals over the years......theres a reason why people stop him along
Gordon Rd and constantly ask him if he is indeed Taieri's answer to
Ryan Giggs....'

Tim Dunn is "ready to feed one up there" against Roslyn this weekend. Lets just hope he doesnt bring the meths. As for the wedding, the Day brothers will be away along with fletcher coach Andrew "Brookside" Brook. Livid with Len & Cheese for doings this to us in such a big game.
