Northern plays the best football in the league and it's a known fact. We're going to win the rest of our games this season and win the league. You heard it here first. 

Why does it matter if I play for Mosgiel? I'm just on here to highlight the achievements from everyone within the league. It's all about respect. 7 teams, 77 players that share the same passion. 77 players that I have respect for.

With round 2 about to kick off I think there will be some upsets... Mosgiel to maintain there good form but might slip in the odd game?? Cavy to dominate this round I believe. Tech to start putting more goals on the lesser teams but struggle against the bigger ones. Roslyn to start winning important games and play attractive footy. Unit GI and Northern to battle away and try upset the others!!

Players to watch this round: Brook, Both Jackson, Ridden, Eder, O Farrell, Ryder, McCormick, Batty, Attwood, Ali, Baringer, Dijkstra, Coldicott, Joy Left winger for Roslyn??

I believe these guys here will really start to show what they have to offer.. you guys have any others to watch??

What bigger teams, 

By that I take it you mean when they [DT] get to play a Mainland team in the Chatham Cup if both Techs get that far.

Cash tech have been doing an amazing job for the last couple of years but let's not forget Dunedin teams have dominated their Chch rivals in the cups up until then? 

Scottie rd he blatantly means the bigger teams of our league. Cavvy, Mosg, maybe Roslyn

If we're going to be talking about the biggest teams in the league, you can't ignore the one, and only, legendary Northern. We play the ball to feet and score screamers on a regular basis. If Northern played outside of Dunedin, we would win any league in the world, quite easily. The only reason we don't win here is that we would feel bad for not letting you guys beat us, so if anything, we at least deserve the fair play award - which as we all know, is truly the most important award. Plus the refs here are always against us. Corruption at its finest. We're the heroes the Dunedin league deserves, but not the ones it needs right now. So you'll beat us, because we can take it. Because we're not your heroes. We're silent guardians. Watchful protectors. The Dark Knights.

Northern will win the league this year lads. It's inevitable. I know you lesser educated people want the ambitious Cavy's, slick passing Mosgiel's, and the long ball Tec's to win, but Northern has a facet none of you will ever attain. Northern has character. If you can't support us when we lose, don't support us when you beat us 5-0. But don't be surprised the day that we show up on your home turf, and teach you a lesson or two. There's a storm coming. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.
