I know what the feeling is like to knock off a top team Coward, but there's got to be some sportsmanship involved with winning and as well. Thrashing the team for playing a style of football that wins games and wins leagues isn't very fair mate. It may be unattractive but playing to your strengths is smart football. Will see if tech can bounce back for cavy this weekend. Great to have more than 2 teams fighting for top spot this year! Look forward to watching some good games coming up.

Batty is a loss but Stewart average, Douglas just a worse McPherson, never heard of Yarros and Abbott wasn't going to get near playing for Mosgiels first team so he went to tech.....

@Lydia Ko, I don't believe I said that tech were giving excuses did I? I was speaking in generalities to everyone.

However there is an excuse by tech just above.

I also believe that majority of the accounts on here offering criticism, are just players who aren't good enought to stand out on the field. Therefore they feel the need to impact and get their attention on this forum. Which is rather pathetic.

Why can't we all just train and play hard for our chosen teams yet still show good spirit to those on opposing teams, at the end of the day we are all in it for the same reasons.

Let us all look at the table come end of the season and see how each other performs.

One win won't make a champion team but one game lost could spoil a seasons aim of being the top dog.

The more teams able to compete for the title all the better for football.
