Scotty would be welcome at Roslyn, extremely quality player. IMO he would knock out both Mepham & Attwood

I've seen wingless seagulls more effective than that wee Aussie on Saturday .

Collection. I suggest you take a week off to grow up,  revisit you avatar, and try come back a more mature person.

In my opinion Roslyn don't require Scott's services. From what I've seen and heard this season he certainly is not living up to his so called reputation.

Maybe he just needs are new home to motivate him, looking forward to watching him playing for a bigger club

Why has the Scott left green island anon?

Quality player, not many players in Dunedin can say they have played O League. Looking forward to watching him play Tech in 2 weeks time

Permalink Permalink

Not quality , easily the most over rated player down here, sure he can hit an ok long ball every once n a while

But work rate is poor, hates the physical stuff , don't think he's even scored for gi yet, gi will be better off without him.

Also just been informed and this is from alot of well respected sources that Scott the cannon Gannon is on a contract paying him $450 a week ( nearly on par with the same amount per week as most 40hour working new Zealanders) this has to be the biggest joke of all time to come out of soccer Otago , first Donnie and now Gannon all I can say is what the fuck was Malcom thinking?

If looking to get that sort of coin from another club then best he get in contact with Ferrymead Bays.
Big payers of the MPL but he may need to score a few to be on their top rate.

I think it's a little harsh on the lad he got a lot of abuse on Saturday. And didn't have the best of games but I doubt he's on that money. Green onions have got  a lot of work to do after that game on Saturday.

And don't have to pay Chatham Cup ties as payment for league games only.

Tough luck guys coz i'm baaaaaack! Its true we may have been brought back down to earth but at the end of the day we are still within a win of top spot which means we won't be ruled out! As for Gannon....I have nothing to add there.

Mosgiel & Northern will be loving that result

The Gannon Effect isn't just confined to ruining the morale of the GI first team but looks like the clubs Fletchers got a dose today as well. 5-0 loss against Caversham with Gannon picking up the award of "worst player on the park" $450 to play fletcher cup....oh dear

From Chatham Cup facebook page (posted 1:27pm):

POSTPONEMENT: The big derby in Dunedin between Caversham AFC and Dunedin Tech has unfortunately been postponed due to a flooded pitch. Details of the rescheduled fixture will be announced asap. The fourth round draw will still go ahead tomorrow.

Heard Tech/Cavy cup game is being played this weekend so both Northern & Roslyn have a bye, why can't they two play mid week or play on Sunday  like the good old days

Big news coming out of the Mosgiel camp this week, with the transfer window slamming shut next week, the Plainsmen in an act of desperation to avoid relegation are in the process of re-signing Luke Burgess...probably slightly better value than snapping up contract rebel Gannon on those astronomical wages!
