Someone told me long ago, we've got a class 18 year-old,

I know, he's been coming for some time,

When he gets onto the grass, he'll put your players on their arse,

I know, Wellington's boy wonder,

I wanna know, have you ever seen Ben Waine?

I wanna know, have you ever seen Ben Waine?

Scoring goals on a windy (/rainy/sunny/whatever the weather is) day

Man, I really like this... lot's of effort.

Can I make some suggestions?

* Drop the We've to just We... less contortion when singing, so far easier and doesn't lose much in meaning

* Keep with the original rhyming and beat of the original in the second part of the first verse.

* I would also just stick with sunny day... will be less confusion from day to day.

On the wing, see him play

He does it every Saturday
