To the tune of "We are the Busby Boys":
Hello, Hello!
We are the Fever boys!
Hello, Hello!
We are the Fever boys!
And if you are a (insert city/team name) fan,
Surrender or you'll die,
We all follow the Phoenix.
How the f**k is this a scum chant!
Since you obviously don't know, this is "The Billy Boys" and is a famous Rangers chant although with different words:
Hullo Hullo
We are the Billy Boys
Hullo Hullo
You'll know us by the noise
We're up to our knees in fenian blood
Surrender or you'll die
For we are
The Glassgow Rangers boys
It originated in the 1920's as the signature song of a protestant loyalist gand called the Billy Boys probably sung as they trawled the streets looking for catholics to pummel.
In 2006 UEFA ordered Rangers to broadcast a message before every game prohibiting the singing of the song due to it's sectarian theme. However the following is an indication of how effective that was:
And it's not just manure that have adopted it, plenty of other teams sing their own version.
And while I'm bursting your bubble, I wonder how many scum fans who proclaim Matt Busby as the Messiah realise that as a player he played for Liverpool and even captained them.
Right, rant over, I'm off to bed!
