Just a couple of things during last nights game that puzzled me,the NIXS started well putting on a bit of pressure, so when we should be doing our bit vocally the chant of seagull comes from the fans WHY??. Then with 12 mins to go with the game on a knife edge ,just when Ricky and the troops need us most and the chant of Yellow Army should be lifting the roof we chant for a steward to give us a wave?? I know its all about having fun but sometimes we have to step forward when it matters and last nght i feel we let Ricky and the boys down

And from the opposite point of view, starting up an "Oh Wellington" chant every two minutes makes less and less people sing it, if its thrashed it loses its appeal.
Personally I like the seagull and "Marley give us a wave" chants, but I take your point, the timing could have been better.

"seagull' at least had the virtue of confusing Bosnich
for what it's worth, i agree that timing for the second "Marley" was a bit off
but not as bad as v Qlnd when someone started "disco" with the score at 1-1 in about the 91st minute - that was donkey!

I get the feeling sometimes we're becoming like the Sevens and Cricket crowds where people are just there to get drunk and have fun without actually getting in behind team properly.
Though to be fair, the sevens crowd does get behind NZ.

...there to get drunk...
I don't think we've ever denied that.
