Hard News, that's a gem.

The one's with the least number of words are the best. As long as everyone knows the tune they're so simply.

I took some heta for the oway-oway-oway" chant on Sunday for it being too simply but I reckon it's a classic we should use it.

See here:

Oh-way ohway ohway ohway ohwya ohway ohwhaaaa Oh-way ohway ohway ohway ohwya ohway ohwhaaaa
ooooooo, we are the phe-o-nix FC
la la la la la la
la la la la la la

See here for rythm, tune:

To the Why-aye-aye part of Buffalo Soldier

Yella yella yellah,

Yella yella yellah,

Yella yella yella yella yella yella yellah!

To the Tune of YMCA

Phoenix! Na na na na na na na na

Phoenix! Na na na na na na na na

Phoenix! Na na na na na na na na

Na!    Na!    Na!    Na!   Na!     Na!

Phoenix! whoaaaaooaoaoaoaoaao

Phoenix! whoaaaaooaoaoaoaoaao

Phoenix! Whoaaaaooaoaoaoaoaao

Na!    Na!    Na!    Na!   Na!     Na!

To: She'll be coming round the mountain

I'd rather be a kiwi than a roo

I'd rather be a kiwi than a roo

I'd rather be a kiwi

Rather be a kiwi

Rather be a kiwi than a roo

To the tune of Flinstones:

Phoenix, We're the Phoenix

We're the greatest A-League football team

Rising, from the ashes

Playing footy like you've never seen.

Sure. .  did you listen to the MP3 of the milan fans singing it? While it may look a bit pish on paper it actaully sounds bloody good when sung by a footbal crowd.

Sweetas. Check out the MP3 when you get the chance. It's not nearly as gay as it looks to read it. It could actually be a winner! The Milan crowd do a real good job of it.

Oh man, that song takes me back! For a second there I was back at Berhampore Primary school, playing footy on the  asphalt playground, kicking arse against the bigger kids from SWIS...good times!

I knew my chant was class.

Three for me, and two for them.
