ok there was one moment of briliance in the YF zone today, 85' ish
there was a little crap and i swear ALL YF CHANTED in perfect
time!!!! at least 750 of us!!!!!!
"SAME OLD AUSSIES ALWAYS CHEATING!!!!!!!!!!!" this chant
echoed of the other end of the stadium it was f**king amazing,
imagine what we can achieve with some leadership!!!!!!
i hope to god that someone has film of this chant, some people
were filming in the YF zone
I tried to get some film of the chant, but some munter kept jumping
in front of the camera. . . . and it doesn't sound very good
either . .. . I need a better mic.

shot man, this was amazing.
For example last time i was in greece i stayed in the area
where the olympic stadium is, when AEK ATHENS played
OLYMPIAKOS(champions league teams) i could hear ALL the AEK chants
perfectly and i was a good 5-8 KM from the stadium. ok they have
more numbers than us but still when chanting is organised and in
time it is a magical experience
ps none of their chants were directed at stewards or
photographers hahaha

Must admit I get annoyed at some of those who bitch about the chants etc,for FKs sake we have had TWO games, so what do you expect everything to be perfect.For FKs sake this is NZ to have even had the response we have so far to me is a big plus.

PS PAO stadium only seats 16,000 not 30,000. f**k
MELBOURNE i am offended they stole a true PAO chant, that chant
only works in greek anyway their version sucks as it is "tonned
down"

It would be great if YF had leadership and some more people with
you.
And it is great if the YF can do the same sort of chanting as
in these youtube clips that have been posted in this thread. Wish i
was over there to add some more voice.
yeah, you see in alot of games, like i saw when watching arsenal vs
sparta prague during mid week, a guy at the front row of their
crowed with a big phone thing (gotgot the name) yelling out things
and the crowed would sing etc, works well to have certain people /
groups start the chanting off in timing which others would follow
Yeah, i suggest you find someone or some people that have the
loudest voice to lead the YF and maybe even invest in getting a
megaphone and maybe latter done the track drum/s.
some guy had a megophone taken off him at the jets game, i would
stick my hand up but no one would listen to me as im young and not
of the UK, it seems people follow the loudest drunkest person with
an accent.
i would suggest organising with the stadium staff to have a
megophone or 3 at the ground that we can leave there etc
i don't think they would trust it but that would be the best way,
maybe before the match starts we could go collect the megaphone
from them or something. That fellah got his taken off him? man
thats sad thats like what a rugby game would do =P i really dislike
rugby, overrated and boring, went to a match with a few relatives i
think it was southland vs waikato... how boring they all clapped
when they scored a try and that was about it
