Arsenal and myself broke this out on the 28th of Nov and I preformed a solo version at the Jets game just been.
It got laughs and plaudits each time but I guess the masses are happy with the Yellow Submarine based taunt.
It works and it's safer around the kids than our one so why not I guess? I personally prefer our version although mine is slightly different, the one I know (and slightly prefer) goes:

Where's your father
Where's your father
Where's your father referee?
You don't have one
You don't have one
You're a bastard referee.....joachim2009-01-06 17:48:09

Who probably heard it on TV. That chant was on TV, some coverage of Scarfees in Otago who sung it on the terraces.

We will need to track down these Scarfies and see if we can get them to honestly tell us if they are the creators of this chant or if indeed they heard it from another source.

It could be an ongoing quest to find the origins of this legendary battle cry.

(oh the whit I must have missed out on by only attending about five games of rugby during my five years in Dunedin)
