It's a good idea except for the fact that it perpetuates a widely accepted mis-undertsanding about the lyrics of "No Woman, No Cry".
A common assumption is that the lyrics are about not being upset about not having a woman, or being dumped by a woman.
In fact, the lyric is actually directed at a woman, imploring her not to cry and that "everything will be alright". It makes more sense to sing it as if there is a comma added after the first no i.e. "No, woman, no cry".
Are we really suggesting to Marco that he doesn't cry? He is a little bitch-judas who I can imagine having a good cry, so maybe we are? Or are we simply ignoring the original meaning and taking advantage of a common mis-understanding in order to create a humorous put down and empower ourselves? Does the fact that we
know we're doing this actually make it OK and, in fact, just that little bit more clever? What would Marley think about it? He was into his football so I presume he would think it was a good laugh. On the other hand, he's dead, so it's hard to validate.
