Thoughts? How we can improve?

Some new chants came off well and we kept going quite well for nearly all the game. Oh Wellington was maybe a bit overused and things like Phoenix til I Die and "You'll never get around McKain" weren't used at all. I'm very keen on the idea of eery silence during opposition goal kicks.

Great performance overall though.

overall we got louder and more in snyc as the game went on - obviously lacked any pre-season training

be great to get the Ifil 6000 and 6000 more chant going -we will need something to rewards his efforts!

i think more variety will come

"rolling subs" was a classic

From Aisle 23 I thought you YF-FZers were in fine form.

Ifill 6000 would be good to hear.

There were some very good ones but were not quite suitable for those of us with small ones so weren't picked up .  Still we had a snigger and had to explain when asked that they were a bit rude.

Overall the YF zones were top notch today, but i was wondering why the boys weren't turning up earlier?

- Plus I heard "The Ref is a Jafa", which was harsh but it the rest didn't follow? What about "The Ref is an Aussie?" Fail.

"Rolling Subs" chant was brilliant!
"Stand Up" sang once at the right time was excellent!
Shirts off with 5 minutes to go was a gamble that paid off.

I do wish however that the crowd wouldnt gasp when our players commit a fowl, that justifys to a ref a card is warranted.

You must have been listening to a different 'Stand Up' to me: still woefully out of tune.

To be fair I dont expect tune anymore, just timing and repetitiveness, two things even a pissed ugly with his shirt off can get right.

The biggest problem with this is that we do it the wrong way around (i.e. For the Phoenix stand up rather than Stand up for the Phoenix). This makes it harder to stick to the tune. Reverse it, and it's much easier.

Is that how you saw it as you were sneaking off home early?

I actually thought we were quite compared to most other matches, must admit I went quite myself for a while due to something strange trying to climb up my throat, (can't have been tonsils as they have been removed),  and the miscalculation of beer funds to keep things working.

I think we need to have a look at what were are doing really. There were periods of the match that felt very quite.

Yeah it was a bit...can't quite put my finger on how or why!

Why can't it just be sung properly...

Staaaand up...for the Phoeeeeeeenix, Stand up for the Phoeeeenix...etc.

It kind of sounded like it was just being spoken rather than sung.
