Too much whinging on this forum!

Alright, there's way too much angst around here lately.

While I appreciate it can be tempting to have a whine to the internet about everything Phoenix, too many people are complaining. It makes for depressing reading for the rest of us.

Therefore, I propose that for every negative thing posted, you must also post something else not negative on another topic (in any forum).

That would make this a lot nicer place to be!

Deal?

Thats a great idea!

I agree with you Bevan, a little bit too angsty, though people are entitled to an opinion, and this is a forum...

I sort of do agree with you on there Bevan. Although someones opnion or the truth may sometimes be negative and should be appropriately posted. I agree with the no whinging factor.

its who we are I think, yellow fever wouldt be what it is without a bit of angst. i think it is only natural to be concerned that there are a few issues with strikers, imagine if we tried to cover it up pretend its not happening. were only being honest. dishonesty is what gold coast are all about

Yeh its bad enough discussing strikers, wait till we get on to the defenders, or God help us, the refs...

Just a suggestion. Maybe you should pop into some of the football club sites, particularly in the UK, and get a look at what angst and whining really are.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Agreed. That is the whole point of a forum. To discuss the good, bad and ugly.

Forum  = 'a public meeting or assembly for open discussion'

yeah I cannot agree with bevan's comments, its like positive discrimination....We will say what we like on hear within obvious parameters set by the moderators. I love reading the negative as much as the positive on here its about passion for the club you support!

Botafogo - Rio de Janeiro and Wellington Phoenix, my two teams til death do us part.

Maybe Beven is coming from the point of view that what until the season starts and if things arent going to plan then get stuck in.

For me it is hard to be negative or positive as I have only seen a few seconds of pre season on TV3 news, as I don't live close to any areas of pre season fixtures it is going to be a wait and see until the first game.

Bring it on!!

Someone always doesn't agree with or doesn't like something... opinions are widespread... let it ride i say... if we put a winning run together and go top of the league, the mood would be jovial, naysayers would disappear and someone would create a thread entitled "not enough criticism on here, where's the healthy debate?"

Does this mean you'll stop whinging about the British influence in Yellow Fever/Nix supporter culture then, Bevan?

Quit whinging about the whinging, lock this one up.

I'm not saying stop whinging, I'm saying post something positive or funny as well.

And yes guys, I have seen some UK football fan forums. While there might be some whinging there, there's also a lot of laughs.

So, bring the joy! (and the pain too)

There's too much C-Diddy on this forum.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Can you imagine how much this site would suck it absolutely everyone agreed with everyone else everytime??

Personality clashes are a fact of life. There are some on here whom I dont agree with and there's plenty whom dont agree with me as well. But that's why I find this site so refreshing. Somehow in some unique way with a common cause- The Nix, we seem to get along regardless.

Cosimo, that Dog pic has to be pic of the day surely??

This forum needs more C-Diddy.

Who else will text you chants while you're watching the Nix in Queenstown?

I kind of agree with Bevan......criticising is OK ,if there is some form of analysis with it. If you want to disagree or rubbish something then back it up with some sort of arguement. Football is a team game....if a player is seen not doing much then chances are there is something else going wrong in the  team as well.

Just saying " player "A" is shiite" or " sack the coach" is just pointless.
