We need 3 or 4 trumpet players. Does anyone play the trumpet?

With a few trumpets i think we could teach the crowd to do a great rendition of Ring of Fire. This is a song that's easy to teach people, can be sung by a large group, and could be made to be the Phoenix Anthem.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lhf9U5Wf3Q

*trumpet refrain x 2*

Love Is A Burning Thing *trumpet refrain*
And It Makes A Fiery Ring *trumpet refrain*
Bound By Wild Desire *trumpet refrain*
I Fell Into A Ring Of Fire

CHORUS:
I Fell Into A Burning Ring Of Fire
I Went Down, Down, Down
And The Flames Went Higher
And It Burns, Burns, Burns
The Ring Of Fire
The Ring Of Fire

*trumpet refrain x4*

CHORUS
I Fell Into A Burning Ring Of Fire
I Went Down, Down, Down
And The Flames Went Higher
And It Burns, Burns, Burns
The Ring Of Fire
The Ring Of Fire

The Taste Of Love Is Sweet *trumpet refrain*
When Hearts Like Ours Meet *trumpet refrain*
I Fell For You Like A Child *trumpet refrain*
Oh, But The Fire Went Wild

CHORUS
I Fell Into A Burning Ring Of Fire
I Went Down, Down, Down
And The Flames Went Higher
And It Burns, Burns, Burns
The Ring Of Fire
The Ring Of Fire

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

I think we should either:

1. negotiate directly with the stadium, or
2.  get the Phoenix to negotiate with the ground

to see if we can be allowed musical instruments.

3. Go to the NZSO if you want to listen to a band

We used to have them actually...not overly popular. If we got trumpets many would move away from them...I'd rather sit in the other side of the stadium than go deaf thanks

I always bring my "instrument' to the game, but have never felt the urge to whip it out (even with 10 to go).
