Did you guys see the team come out and warm up in Retro Ricky
t-shirts?
I got there in time to see them warm up in the retro ricki's absolute class. Definitely was awesome in the fever zone. But early on there were 3 or 4 rows in front of me that were barely singing.
Heard yous loud and clear on the tele
keep it up!
yeah they were great!
Yellow Fever were awesome tonight.
I was seated at halfway and your chants spurred on a lot of
the crowd around me as the game progressed.
I think it might have been due to the simplicity of the
chants. It was the ones with few but really clear words in it that
made them join in.
Something to think about maybe.

Absolutely bloody marvelous!
I have been waiting a long time for football to come of age in New Zealand and I'm rapt the way Wellington has stood up behind the Phoenix.
The atmosphere was top class - especially concidering the club's only four months old - it can only get better. The way we lifted them for the final 15 minutes was fantastic.
I've got a smile a mile wide...

I was right down the front of the fever zone. There were a few
people sitting quietly for the first half and I was asked to sit
down. But I don't think there was anyone not standing or singing
for the last twenty minutes. People will eventually get used
to singing and standing.

You were asked to sit down??!!
Thats a disgrace.
"stand up, for the phoenix!"
Watched the replay tonight, bloody great, we were all awesome, and
the commentators loved us
I loved how they were screaming when the goals went it. That made me laugh so much
Harry Ngata is god. That is all.
"The champion began to buckle and Wellington, with nothing to lose,
threw caution to the wind. Brownlie struck the woodwork and then
Smeltz headed over as the host, buoyed by a roaring, raucous crowd,
gave everything in search of what would have been a fairytale
winner."
This was in "The Age" from their match report- even the Aussies noticed the noise!!
