Man, I'd love to go. I like Adelaide (the city, not the team).

Sadly, even watching the Nix beating the Cakes wouldn't be worth the divorce proceedings I'd come home to.
It wouldn't be divorce for me as you can't divorce a corpse (That's almost poetic)

Its no longer a problem.

Flights booked, and match tickets arrived today!

Flying to AKL on Thursday night and into Adelaide on Friday morning. Home on Sunday. Not sure where we're staying yet - and keeping my eyes out here for the meeting pub!

Marvelllous!

I'm not going to bother for this one. Two flights to get to Adelaide and back is a fortune. Like $800 return. Have to take Friday off is a bit of a hassle is well, but I guess I could if I had too. Get through to the next round, definitely consider going to Gold Coast or Melbourne.
Never really fancy the atmosphere at Hindmarsh Stadium as great is well. Melbourne Victory is way better!

How many of you are going over? Hope it is not only the six of us!

2 of us, plus one other I'm aware of (who may or may not have included herself in the six - probably not yet!)

When I ordered tickets on Monday, the lady at Ticketek said the Away Supporters section looked about half full. While I know that's not very big, at least it suggests more than the 9 of us!!

Have now added myself to the count.  Yes, I am making the trip again (discovered some airpoints which majorly subsidised the trip - will probably recall what I was saving them for sometime next week!).

We liked the Lady Daly after the game.  But don't know what it'll be like before the game.

I shall ask my (Hard News') Red Army contact about the main pubs to avoid!

Bring it on!!!

Flights booked. Tickets bought (S1, row A, seat 673). Just waiting to hear back from the backpackers...

When do other people arrive? I'm landing in Adelaide around 2pm tomorrow. There's an open Nix training at Hindmarsh some time after that. Hope to see a few of you there!

You'll have to report back on how Ifill goes at training and wave the YF flag! Our seats 676 & 677 in S1 Row A.

Yeah, I'll definitely keep an eye on Ifill at training and hopefully have a word with him afterwards.

Looks like we're seating just a couple of seats apart. Look forward to meeting you!

The Herald photo shoot will be in Adelaide. Either tomorrow or Friday. Probably in a pub. It'll be choice.

They are pretty lame actually, its kids throwing coins at us above the glory away bay...Joiners Arms is literally across the road from the stadium (Dunno if you guys will need police escort, like we did)

Considering you guys are kiwi and won't probably blow up a sex toy and put an adelaide united jersey on it, you should be fine

Kia ora,

Lady Daly or Jolly Miller confirmed as suitable pre-match venues.

I don't want to be designated tour-leader (!!) - but will say now that I shall go to the Lady Daly on Port Road (cos I've been there before).  Reckon I'll be there 5/5.30pm'ish.  My mobile is 022 026 2969 - texts only!

Its start of the Adelaide Fringe this weekend, so aim for a really big night Friday!

Cool, Lady Daly it is. What time? I've got some things to do but I should free to head to the pub from probably 2pm SA time.

If only. I stayed at the backpackers and watched a film, all the while getting harrassed by an Aussie. I hate them!

Tonight's the night! Come on you Nix!

Lady Daly is right next to the Entertainment Centre, for those going. There are trams that go there straight from the CBD. The information centre lady told me they were free, but the sign inside the tram with the various prices for each stage made me think it might not be. If caught, plead ignorant.

And if you have paid for your game ticket and you're collecting it here, don't go to the CBD box office the Ticketek website tells you to go to. The directions lead you to a pub in the middle of suburbia. The pub is lovely, but you won't get a ticket! Go to the Entertainment Centre - it's in Hindmarsh, next to both the stadium and the Lady Daly.

See you all soon!
