The one with the girl??

Yeah! She was in heels - for some reason - so wanted to sit down. So we went outside. We'll most likely be back this weekend -  if the game is on...

Thought that was you. I was the guy that walked out just as it finished and said " Could have been a few more goals "

Don't know if you heard that

Glad we met! Look forward to seeing you next time!

Sorry to disappoint, but will not now be popping over from Waiheke. Alternative arrangements (allegedly) in place.

Ended up being a one man (+ two girl) yellow fever at the "sports bar" on Waiheke. A bit dire.

But they did switch channels and turn the sound up for us. Mind you, we the only people in the bar (I also took along my daughter and her friend, who are also season ticket holders).

Slightly tragic, me there in my yellow fever top oohing and aahing to the amusement of the bar staff.

I know, I know, its serious!

They're the freaks!

I saw someone in a finals campaign shirt in Kingsland today. I was wearing my Tim Brown shirt too. Nice to see the Fever representing up here in Auckland!

Fox's decided against showing the Phoenix today, despite advertising that they would. O'Hagan's was happy to accommodate, actually got a decent amount of people watching.

There were a bunch of Poms watching the Eng/Aussie ODI and some others watching the Aussie Open.

Do we A) Give them another chance or B) Blacklist and move.

just need to know a few things first, how many of us were there? did any one approach the bar staff? i have always found them happy to help and assist us

Yeah that is quite strange they didn't show it.

I have never had any problems with them.

At least half a dozen turned up at Foxes. Definitely asked, their (Fox's) reason was because there was too much interest in the two sports shown despite advertising. Fox's also suggested O'Hagan's, though.

Perhaps we should call ahead for Wednesday's game. I'm planning on going to the reserves v Auckland at Kiwitea and then to Foxes for the Nix on Wednesday and I don't particularly feel like being dicked about.

Wednesday night should be fine as there aren't many other sports on that night

Anyone else thinking of going to Kiwitea for Nix reserves v Auckland at 6pm and then on to Foxes?

pretty big today. definitely over 20. Hopefully we'll have big numbers on Saturday night again. Every game is the biggest game of the season from here on out.
Permalink Permalink

We might want to check that they are showing the game. Because it is a Saturday night game and the Viaduct is usually pretty packed

It's only half past eight on a Saturday, and if anywhere in the city is showing it its them. They've put on every other Saturday/Friday night game so far.

Yeah I know. I was just saying it would pay to check first just to be on the safe side

I would be at Foxes more often if I didn't keep going down to Welly for the football!

Don't worry about the sevens, no one actually watches it, do they?
