Weekend Double Headers in Wellington

Saw someone on Twitter ask about ALM & ALW games in Welly on Sat/Suns

Sat 9th Dec - ALM Nix vs NEW (Sky Stadium)
Sun 10th Dec - ALW Nix vs MVC (Jerry Collins)

Sat 10th Feb - ALM Nix vs WUN (Sky Stadium)
Sun 11th Feb - ALW Nix vs ADL (Jerry Collins)

The January CCM double header has disappeared with the Unite Round being announced.

Dunno what the odds are on this one becoming one

Sat 16th Mar - ALM Nix vs SYD (Venue TBC)
Sun 17th Mar - ALW Nix vs SYD (Jerry Collins)

I think every round should be double headers. Alternate who plays first - Men or Women or Women then Men. It would help I think. 

Mind you, I still think Hutt Wreck for both teams would have been a better option with 9k availability and use Sky for any finals games. When the club can get 9k for either team,consistently, then they can move back to the more expensive Sky.

That was me RR, thanks for the info, looking to come up from CHC with my 16 yr old son for a weekend and catch a couple of games.

It did, they had 3 temp stands for those three games. It was probably the best atmosphere for regulars we've had, despite the windy rainy weather. The Belle View before the game for lunch, plenty of free car parking, trains and buses within 2 minutes. The 2014/15 season. I wonder if the YF would consider a 10 Year Anniversary tee Shirt??

Yeah but that's with temporary stands, they arent there now, I honestly cant see the league being happy with the current facilities at the ground, even with more permanent stands.
Besides the NIMBY's arguing against any construction at the ground.

And the 11th Feb ALW match has been moved now.
