Exeter City player Adam Stansfield died in the early hours this morning NZ time after a battle with cancer. He was a well known and respected lower league player. He was 31.

Absolutely tragic to die so young. He was admitted to hospital after complaining about abdominal pains and was diagnosed with bowel cancer. RIP.
