Man. Utd have been reported to have signed Danish goalkeeper Lindegaard to replace van DS. Hope this guy is the goods, as Utd have never really been successful unless they have a class keeper.

Yes, but they were not in the same class as VDS or Peter S. In fact the last 10 were at times woeful.

Our backup keeper (and initially goal keeper coach)? Averaged about 10 games a season for the 6 years he was with us. Most of which came when Schmeichel left. Was a dependable 'keeper too.
Bosnich too much blow, and Carroll still 'saved' that Mendes shot
