That everything coming out of the England camp at the
moment is coming from Venables? Where is McClaren?
Obviously Venables is going to say don't sack McClaren as even he,
(Venables), admits he is not up to managing a priemership club
anymore so needs this England job. I wonder if the FA have told
McCLaren to keep his head down?

When he was in charge on Leeds he looked a shadow of his
former self. first time I've seen him really ground down. I
always though his appointment was more to help McClaren handle
the media pressure and add a bit of gloss from his success of
the 1996 Euro campaign rather than his tactical ability. If he is
the one in charge then he has lost it bigtime.

Allardyce?
Bruce???

Aidy Boothroyd
Gary Johnson
Mick McCarthy etc?
Very sad looking little list. We worry about English players
having no flair but we should be as worried that no real quality
managers are coming through.

Not sure I'd want him anywhere near any forum, club or
business I was involved in....
Why is he anywhere NEAR the England setup? Proof positive that
the FA may not be the best people to be involved in the top level
game.
