I'm not sure where to post this, but I think this is the right thread.

Arsene Wenger says that he loves Andrei Arshavin.  As a man.  News so strange it f**ked up ESPN's formatting!

generally Managers will defend their big ticket signings despite what appears to the fans at large to be a loss of form.

not sure if I have ever seen it described as Man Love though either Stripes.

"I love him as a player" would have been funny but not too suspect.  (Though given how well he performs in wide areas, I find it hard to believe that Arshavin would make a good wing-man.)
