I would actually applaud spurs for sending him to the blue half of manchester.

Berbatov has had a medical at United, even though they haven't agreed a fee with Spurs, or got permission to talk to the player.

Tapping up at its worst.

Clearly Spurs don't want to sell him to Man Utd, but, equally as clearly, player and club will do everything underhand they can to make it happen.
This one's got a few hours left yet, but I can see it being United, sadly, that get him.
Nix, Leyton Orient and Alloa Athletic supporting schmuck.

I read that Ferguson personally picked up Berbatov at Manchester airport even though only Citeh have permission to talk to him.

Berbatov has pretty much been whacking off over ManYoo's emblem since July so I don't think he gives a rats who else offers him what, he's now got Sir Ferg to give him a hand

I'd like to see Berbatov at Man Utd but I hope Fraizer Campbell isn't part of the deal. There was once a time when United prided themselves on their youth system.

What I meant was, I hope Campbell doesn't go permanently. A loan sounds perfect.

sir alex picked him up in his bently and whisked him away for a medical, despite spurs not even giving them permission to do so. man city made an offer and it was accepted, however they couldent seem to be able to contact berbatov(funny that) so they looked elsewhere.

spurs where going to report united to fifa, which could have cost man united dearly, however they bribed spurs to shut up with a year long loan deal for fraizer campbell.

thats what the press say anyway

Spurs manager said that Berbatov could go basically quite a few times. Ferguson never said that about Ronaldo.

Good move for Campbell. Guaranteed to get plenty of playing time since him and Bent are the only strikers at Spurs. Look forward to seeing him back at United with a good PL season behind him.

I don't think that Chelsea fans are in any position to sl*g off another club for tapping players up

You are so right Frankie, but Fergutlesson will get away with it.

In fact don't be surprised if the FL don't dock Luton another 30 points for Man United's behaviour in this sad incident.  Shame the EPL don't come down as hard on the bigger clubs as the FL do with the small clubs.
