the ones mentioned so far arent bad...but they did cost quite a bit...im gunna go with David Healy at Fulham...1.5 mil quid is a bit cheaper than those mentioned.

i think he could be the one to stop FFC from dropping to the fizzy league

Roque Santa Cruz. 3.8 mill really isn't bad for a player of his class.

i reckon its a bit early in the season for this. torres could but i wanna see how many he gets buy the end of the season, with the amount they paid for him he really should get between 15-20 goals. i think silva could be quiet useful as the season goes on

go gunners

Torres was expensive as tho so i like to choose cheaper options. And i agree Sam Allardyce is up there for Newcastle!!! Viduka had made a big difference to the team as well! WORST BUY: TEVEZ. Waste of time im gutted we bought him! Huntalaar on his way tho!pavlos82007-09-11 12:35:42

Veronin or Torres, both legends to be at liverpool, but not as ard as Gerrard, no contest

The Yak for all money. Goal a game so far . Leighton Baines too, he was a steel for what ever we paid for him. Jagielka was a great score too. If you look at who Moysey buys you'll note he has only been wrong with Shandy van der maid. Cahill, Johnson, Howard, Arteta, Lescott, Martyn, The Yak. All great buys that havent cost the earth.

Its no longer a problem.

Manuel Fernandes. Oh noes, that's right...

Got to agree that, while Torres looks redhot and set to continue, Voronin has paid dividends for a free transfer and for my money is the best signing so far this year...

It could have been Julien Faubert.

I have to disagree here on one point... Yes Shandy was mistake but as was BEATTIE & resigning Pistone again season before last after he was initially released.

Apart from that all purchases have been Quality. Yak is expensive but has potential to be up there with the best

The Yak for sure...Just what we needed upfront..I liked Jagielka when he was at The Blades, should be good also.

He is my best buy as well. McCarthy cost about that much last year so Hughes is finding the good deals.

I agree. Well needed too. either that or santa cruz also. although torres is amazing, youd be expecting the quality after that amount of money. I jsut rate the unheard of transfers of Arsene.

p.s not to say if torres came my way i'd be saying no!!

Im partial to Liverpools signings so Id have to agree with Torres, however Voronin would be the best buy or acquisition, Babel is good too, just haven't seen too much of him at the moment and also the Argie in midfiend

40mil in talent and some very average performances, Nani has been alright, although he has some nice tricks most of the time he's ineffective with them, but has talent. Anderson has offered nothing so far, but as you say little playing time.

Some names no ones mentioned Utaka, Elano, Kapo. and I've liked McShane, Gordon and Carson.

Could we please try and use English too.

oh i think nani has been good wen hes been getting normal playing time utaka has had like 1 good game but i think elano was a good signing but kapo plays for i sh*t team so na i think young for aston villa he is class

Lee Cook for Fulham once he comes back from injury. He's the left sided midfielder England have been missing so much!

If Martin Jol gets the boot and Spurs bring in Juande Ramos from Sevilla, that will ave to be my pick as the best buy of the year.

Lee Cook will never grace the pitch in an England jersey, the likes of Ashley Young, Bentley and Lennon are all miles ahead of him.
