Two strikers seems to be a bit of a hit this season with some teams... so who's the best?

Three partnerships immediately spring to mind...

Sturridge/Suarez (SAS)

Aguero/Negredo (Aguedo)

Van Persie/Rooney (Twin Traitors)

The stats say Aguedo... I'd have to agree based on the season so far... but the other two are pretty quality outfits - who will be the best come seasons' end? Will any of them be champions?

I agree.  I really think City will be too strong this season.( I hope I'm wrong)

I'd take Neg-ro out of the options presented.

Nothing on Giroud/Özil though.

I don't think our style lends itself to Ozil/Giroud being a striking partnership as such... certainly not in the same mould as the three mentioned.

Ozil doesn't stay up front a lot, he really mixes it up, spending stretches on a flank while ramsey/rosicky/wilshere go in behind Giroud, or even dropping deep and properly playing in midfield - he did that for a big chunk of the first half against dortmund I noticed, with rosicky or ramsey ahead of him instead. Fabregas and Cazorla (in the first half of last season at least) played like second strikers at Arsenal, but I don't think we've really operated a proper 2 striker system since we had adebayor and van persie together. When Benitez went all european with the 4-2-3-1 at Liverpool everyone started to copy it. This is the first time I can remember since about 2009 that 2 strikers has been in fashion at the bigger clubs.

As a Liverpool fan, I declare my bias up front.  However I do think that the twin traitors have a long history of excellence in the EPL. Don't know if that makes them the best at the moment but if you were to look back in a few years, they would stand out....for me anyway.

Loving that fact that Liverpool have more than one threat...it has been a while.

You could argue Rooney does exactly that also. At any rate, I wasn't being completely serious! Although I am very happy with what we have.

Negredo and Aguero are clearly the best.

Suarez is a great player but Sturridge is a flat track bully imo.

RvP and Rooney are on the decline.

Scored against United, City, Spurs and Chelsea last season. Scored against United this season.

Goes against the definition of a flat track bully.

Sturridge does look pretty frustrated with how much Suarez is dominating things now though. Doesn't seem like much of a "partnership".
