here's the latest idea from the EPL crew
5 groups of 4 spread round the world in the (proposed) English midwinter break
one proposed location = Sydney
now that The Tigers are in the prem i'm keen (tragically, they may not still be there when/if this comes to fruition)

Why??
Whats wrong with England for the English (Premier League)?
This idea of international legs of the league is nonsense, and takes the game further from it's roots and closer to it being no more than a marketing commodity as a plaything of the rich to make a quick buck from.

i agree with everything yu say Ginge, but if the Tigers were playing in Sydney (i realise those groups are hypothetical) i'd be knocking kangaroos and wombats out of the way as i sprinted joyously out of sydney airport
