Remember that programme? Brian Moore and three games & letters per episode? Well sniffing around the net, I found this. A comprehensive list of each episode during the programmes run. Oh how i'd love to get my hands on the footage! For me all the QPR games would be a brilliant watch as we had an excellent team during that early/mid 70's era. Some great games listed and sadly, I remember a few of them - showing my age!

Awesome find LG!

Was wondering why they stopped during the 80s and TVNZ did pick up match of the day? We should have our own match of the day programme version for the NZFC and other local premier leagues. Use the same one hour format, two 20 minute highlight games plus all the goals from the league games with division standings/results.

I just wish i could buy some of those programmes/games on DVD.

Now being reincarnated by TVNZ. Sundays at midday. Just like the old days sans Brian Moore. Would love it if they used the old Big League Soccer theme tune. haha
