Fantastic article from the Mail, (never thought I'd say that), about English football and I've often wondered about the concept of B teams. It's interestin that the article goes on about how passionate fans arfe about their teams. Hell I was reading about a POSH supporter wishing Cambridge United well as he misses the matches between the clubs, don't get me started on Cambridge City fans....

If people tamper with the very fabric of football back home what will happen?

All I want is the stupid amounts of money from the top helping out the lower league clubs that on a weekly basis you read about on the brink of folding.

When me and Vick went home and watched a conference match it was brutal - not sure you'd want to put some starlet in that mix.

This is huge on so many fronts. Mods, can we re-title the thread though so people can find it more easily: Dyke's FA Review, or similar.

If it was not already shut the English FA has just locked the door and thrown away the key to non EU passport holders.

How much of Dykes report will eventuate? The League 3 proposal is such a change of culture.

Shit idea. Shits all over tradition.

Three for me, and two for them.

All England has left is tradition. England is the only country which can boost the level of competitiveness that it does in its 5th tier. Getting rid of that would destroy a lot of history. The poor crowds from Barcelona B and Real Madrid B is just evidence of this. What sort of crowds would Everton B bring to a clash against Luton Town?

What they should do to reform football in England is make the Premier League only have 18 teams. That then is 4 less fixtures a season. I think it is too difficult for players to play that many difficult games in a season and still perform for their national team. It's not like young English talent cannot be developed at present. I think the B teams would just end up being really crap. Players on the cusp are loaned out to Championship clubs and that seems to work fine.

Do you think there are links between Greg Dyke and Gareth Morgan? Both seem to have fucked up something quite amazingly.
