We hold of 15 minutes of pressure from Hull to come away with 3 points!!

Jaaskelainen had a great match! Top class saves and youll see them clogging up the review show!

I hear your c**ting fans booed through the minutes silence in remembrance of those who fought for our freedom in WW1 and 2.

I mean i knew Bolton fans were sh*t but this is something else.

Three for me, and two for them.

Nope your right there, According to fans on the messageboard who were there it was a few drunken fans who arrived late coming into the stadium and where chanting away. Not realising is no excuse there though, its pathetic.

Not the best first half performance by any means against Liverpool!

Second half for about 20 minutes was much better and we can count ourselves unlucky not to score...

Low and behold i still wore my Bolton shirt to the Under-17s finals the next day, surprisngly only stick i got was from these little kids wearing Man Utd shirts, like thats going to bother me
More importantly when we were getting photos with the English side the assisant coach said she liked the shirt first she saw out here.

Had a power cut up here when Middlesbrough scored, bit worried at that point!
It came back on just after fulltime turned out i didnt have much to worry about as we scored right back to make it 3-1.

About time Johan got another goal for the club

Rest of you Wanderers fans have gone quiet!

Whats your predictions for our trip to the Stadium of Light tonight?

We have turned this game around!

Cisse gives Sunderland the lead 11 minutes in but two quick goals from Matty Taylor and Gary Cahill has given us a 2-1 lead

4-1 it finishes and we were pretty much untroubled after they scored..

Elmander's goalscoring is like a bus, wait for one and two come at once

Back to bed

Disappointing effort, we werent really that competitive...

Tactics seemed all wrong, Elmander was so isolated up front and since we were playing so deep nobody could get forward to support him

Bolton go down 1-0 to Wigan to sit 11th on the table going into 09. Not all bad, but damn there's a log jam in the middle.

(also lost to sunderland in the FA Cup but who cares)

Happy with the Zat Knight signing, I know we have been chasing him for the last couple of weeks. I'll admit I have not seen Ricketts play that much but im guessing he will play a role behind Steinsson in right back

Im predicting 3 of our back 4 starters will now be former Aston Villa players, Cahill, Knight and Samuel

First appearance for the Wanderers pre-season and first goal for Sam Ricketts, Taylor also signing an extension to his deal just need Cahill to follow suit

Shaping up as a good summer for Bolton so far but were still a bit weak upfront
