While I'm not exactly a Bolton fan (I support Leyton Orient) my dad is Bolton born and comes from a long line of Trotters fans. My grandfather attended the White Horse final and was then guest of honour at the 1980 FA Cup Final (Hammers vs Arse) when returning to Wembley for the first time since that game.
I was brought up a Trotters fans and branched out on my own when old enough to make my own decisions. My early initiation into British football was via the likes of Neil Whatmore, Roy Greaves, Tony Dunne, Barry Siddall, Alan Gowling  and Sam Allardyce.
Obviously I still look for their results - I have to as I know dad will call on a Sunday morning to discuss the results and look out me if I'm unaware of how Wanderers got on.
Nix, Leyton Orient and Alloa Athletic supporting schmuck.

It all went downhill since they lost world class players like Sibierski and Bramble...

Welcome to the forum! Sure you'll find the odd Trotter here, if I found another Colchester fan here then you're bound to be successful in your pursuit too!

Solano leaving hasn't helped Newcastle, he created a lot of their goals if not scoring them himself.

and now sams left look whats happened???

bassically when you start selling off you players like anelka you r selling yourself for relegation.
i have watched alot of crap both on my tv and on the internet at 3am most sunday mornings and some of the decisions on the park by my mighty bolton this year is flabagasting!!!
still in uefa and fighting for premiership survival just isn't right.
big game v the wigan coming up will bassically determine our future with games v arsenal liverpool and chelski still to go.

keeping the faith though.

the games against villa and west ham are possible to get points from and obviously borough and sunderland.

it all depends on the sunderland game if they can beat them then the black cats could take boltons place, whats birminghams run?

I was at the first game of the season against Newcastle - mainly because grandsprog wanted to see a premiership game on holiday. I bought him the shirt and hat etc and we shouted for Bolton, but, like me he preferred it at (my spiritual home) Elland Rd where the atmosphere and results were better and the crowds were bigger .

But, as a result of that one game supporting Bolton I always look for their results and hope for the best for them.

After yet another win for bolton against sunderland it seems they will stay in the premiership next year.

what is on the agenda for bolton over the off season to get back to the top 10 status they were the previous 4 years before this one?

Sign a decent striker or two, Diouf is off to Valencia in the summer. Sack Megson, bring back Allardyce

bolton are staying up but they will need some new signings if they want to do better next year.

A decent striker not that kevin davies isn't decent but they need a goal scorer to team up with him.

Danny guthrie is looking like he will stay permanantly as liverpool no longer need him and will except a 1.5m transfer fee after a successful season with bolton

Im a wanderers Fan. Every since they came into the Premiership and bet Boro 5-0 and were top off the table, i've stuck with them even got a signed top with about 9 of the players.

Grandparents when they went to England went on a tour of Reebok Stadium and took a photo out the front of it. Wish i could have been there at that same time!!

Ever since Sam has left wanderers have slowly gone down and down especially since Anelka has gone, he was class. He should have stayed he doesn't get much starts for Chelsea.
