cheers, Lilltlol, great memories of that theme music and the two managers

I'd imagine that Clough had the last laugh! ("slightly special" indeed)

I can't get over how young he looked (he always looked old to me when i was a kid )

just wondering - if you're  older than me  -what your doctor/cardiologist has to say about them avatars

Aven't you heard, Melons are good for the heart.

Sad to see though, that alot of the old guard are passing away...I met Brian Clough when I was a toddler, got a photo with him in a photo album somewhere.

It would be good entertainment watching some of todays managers doing face to face interviews like that. Neil Warnock v Alan Curbishley   Wenger v Fergie  Morinho v anyone

For an imaginative look inside Brian Clogh's mind during his short time at Leed Utd after Don Revie there's a very good newish book to look out for called "The Damned United"

Don't really have much to contribute to this thread, just enjoying looking at littlelol's avatars.

Ian Holloway, the Plymouth manager, is always good value as well

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.
