Michael,

Please stop posting pointless remarks.  I know you are young, but others on here are in fact over fifteen and would prefer it if you remembered that and treated people reasonably.

Besides, there are at least two Burnley fans here and they will be along shortly.

How's my driving? - Whine here

Great result for the Burn. Although many premier league sides and their fans don't place to much emphasis on the Carling Cup. Always good to see this kind of upset happen in the FA Cup instead tho . .

Hopefully the clareys will concdentrate on there BIG chance of getting to Wembley in this comp and let us win in the 3rd round of the FA Cup. Certainly showing form as promotion contenders.
A club with great tradition and former players such as Leighton James and Dave Thomas and Peter Noble.

If Clarke Carlisle can stay of the bottle long enough, you will have one of, if not, THE Best central defender in the Championship.

1975/76 relegated, Burnley, Wolves & Sheffield United. Burnley are the only team not to have returned there.

To be honest with their history, they would deserve to go up there this season. If they keep up the current form, I would not be surprised to see them in the playoffs.

Just a couple of seasons back they had a doco on the club and how the fans were running most things to save on money that could be used elsewhere. They are worthy fans of high respect.

no doubt there is. I'm feeling a massive turnaround after this shonky away stint - topped off with a 5-0 victory over the spurs in the second leg of course.

Hot form?  Not sure about that.  We've lost the last four straight unless your team happens to be called QPR!  Thank you Hoops.

Come on Burnley, it's hard to know which team is in the premiership, your hammering them spurs 3-0 into extra time now  way to go

I watched the game online. Massive performance by the other claret and blues. Robbie Blake had an inspired match, scored a nice free kick and created the other two goals. Spuds young keeper was sh!te tho. The thing I liked was that Burnley played out of their skin until the final whistle. Even when they could've sat back at 3-0 (4-4 agg) they just kept going forward. Nice one!!

All power to you Turfmoore and any Burnley lurkers. I have a feeling watching you mob might be as frustrating as watching my mob, just in a different colour. HarryHotspur2009-01-22 17:52:44

You should be proud Turfmoore.

Watching matches like that is like a nice wee reminder why football is the best sport on the planet.

I'm surprised cardiff didnt set off the fire alarm at the hotel Arsenal were staying in. Usually they do it about 3am on the day of the game.

Indeed, not a bad haul (and we also beat Spurs 3-0 at Turf Moor over 90 minutes).  Correction too against West Brom - 3-1.

Hope we get promoted because this Premier League looks easy!

And why the "e"?  Not to hard to work out.

Mr Moore

No UG, hadn't forgotten about this thread. More humble for someone else to resurrect it.

And, LG, No & No. Match not on TV (I asked Sky about it), and my focus will be totally claret when at Wembley.
Will however take the Retro Ricki as a fashion accessory for London though. Essential.
