The usual panic board decision.  What difference do they think a new manager with a new approach is going to do with 9 games to go and stuck with the exisiting squad (and probably system)?

The reality is that the squad Hull have is not good enough for Premier League.

Phil, you have provided me with some great laughs over the last couple of seasons. The story you created about saving a girl from jumping off a bridge is possibly top of the list. In a way, I will miss you.

Spotted on twitter this morning, gold:

"thinks Hull sacking Phil Brown is harsh, he wore Hull's colours on his face for goodness sake! Maybe his position was un-tan-able..."

He was on shaky ground for a long time, but Iain Dowie as a replacement? He's hardly covered himself in glory in recent years.
Nix, Leyton Orient and Alloa Athletic supporting schmuck.

he's no Eton Rifle either
hiring Dowie is like the deal breaker for relegation
one of the more foolish decisions in Prem history
probably not as bad as Blackburn sacking Roy Hodgson but it certainly deserves a mention in the hall of dumbass
