Just made.  Is ...

Sunderland v Blackburn Rovers
Arsenal v Wigan Athletic
Chelsea v Burnley
Swansea City v Watford
Manchester United v Queens Park Rangers
Stoke City v Rotherham United
Brighton & Hove Albion or Derby v Leeds United
Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool

Bring on those over-paid ponces from Stamford Bridge I say!
Lonegunmen would be licking his anticipatory lips as well (although QPR don't quite have the need for dosh that others have).

I know, I know, its serious!

What is it with Chelsea and these English cup draws!
Permalink Permalink

Is it completely randomised draw or is it seeded. Spurs v Liverpool and then Swansea City v Watford and Brighton & Hove Albion or Derby v Leeds United.

Completely random.
Otherwise Chelsea and Burnley would have been kept apart.

A home draw and we'd have been in with a chance, but I am not looking forward to Man U at their place. Guaranteed mandatory penalty for United for sure. Swansea at our place would have been a better draw.

You couldnt be more right there, that or a red card for a QPR player, maybe even both at the same time if your lucky..

You raise an interesting point. Imagine the Liverpool team of 1977/78 V Man United of 2008 if the players were obviously their age they were at the time. What sort of game would it have been and who'd have won? Souness would have eaten Ronaldo for breakfast and told him to harden up.

Are you referring to January 1st 1992, Old Trafford and up steps Denis Bailey with a hattrick as the R's ran out 4-1 winners? Denis Law was just about in tears. He couldn't even pay QPR one compliment despite us being all over United (For once at their place). He dare not sl*g of Uniteds inept performance either. He was stuck in limbo.

So our BiG journey to Old Trafford is Nov 11th. My God if we upset the form books and nicked it, it'd give me ammunition to use on Martin Devlin for at least three years! Man U fans on here would be exempt from much crap as you're Nix fans too!

Burnley pull off the upset, beating Chelski on pens. If we didnt always get drawn against Arsenal in this thing, I wouldnt mind seeing Rovers play them, tho atm we could lose that.

"shocks" alround except ours, although only allowing United a 1-0 penalty win after their target practice of 22 shots on goal is an achievement. Still, 22 shots and only a penalty? Hmmmm

Actually I think it was a good move by fergusson, giving yet more miracle players from their friggen youth scheme to gain experience. I wish we had a youth set up like that.
