What a load of crap. I feel sorry for Blues fans and DON'T buy one.  Who the hell dreams up these stupid designs, Like Manure's racing stripe & the gooners losing their white sleeves. FFS, As if you fans didn't cop enough crap over the fluro goaly outfit.

Is 2009/2010, the year of looking dorky??

That racing strip is awful, let's be honest.

I once saw a Monaro with a racing stripe colour scheme like that and it too sucked, Have a V6 under the hood instead of an V8. United should go back to their jersey of 1975/76 season, so too Arsenal & Chelsea. back then, they really meant something and looked cool.

Meh, I like our racing stripe. The shirt that really looks ugly is our white one, they tried too hard to incorporate red and blue.Michael2009-03-08 12:55:08

That's what I thought. As for the stripe, it looks fine providing the space isn't left blank

actually......it looks like a cycling shirt..........and 2 normal chelsea shirts.........cut up and sewn 2gether.......horribly. lets hope thats what it is. a hoax.

It's probably a hoax.  It's very early for any club to be announcing kit changes for next year, never mind going public with the design.  These days they wait until the last game of the season to show off the new kit to get everyone buying it over the summer.

Yeh, that's defiantly not their next one. Doesn't mean we can't have a laugh at it though.

That's very likely to be the next kit, it was leaked to footballshirtculture.com a while back along with quite a few other adidas kits (Madrid, Bayern, Liverpool), and they are usually bang on.  It also matches the new adidas templates which have been introduced in the US.  Hard luck guys...

Oh and united fans, don't get too smug.  This is a leaked away kit for you guys next season.

It's been announced that United will have a replica of the 1909/10 season next year for their home shirt so it's not too long a bow to draw.  Check out that website, it has plenty of football kit news

I actually didn't think that Chelsea shirt was too bad. At least its the tradional blue. The manufacturers always come up with styling gimmicks but when they start doing things like taking away the white sleeves on the Arsenal shirt, then it gets a bit too much

I was going to make a remark about Chelsea's Tour De france entry but then I saw that United away kit. That'd have to be one of the ugliest shirts I've ever seen.

If it is genuine then it's a big leak as I haven't seen any talk of a new sponsor, although that can't be far away with aig loosing money hand over foot.

I actually don't mind the racing stripe, looks fine on my one but that's because I've got a name and numbered version.

The fact that Nike, like every other brand is advertising their "performance gain from wearing their shirts", pretty much rules that out.

Also the fact the sponsors logo is so small, never gonna happen, only the ABs are that stupid.

Oh, and Suadi Telecom has had a contract with the club for mobile content for ages.Michael2009-03-11 19:30:46

Oh dear God, football really has gone to the dogs.  Go to the Chelsea website and read the description of the technology used in the shirt.  Absolute hype and corporate wank.  I won't be buying one.

Well pleased with Burnley's kit for 2009/10. It's a retro styled shirt to celebrate the 50th anniversary of last time the Clarets were champions of England. Makers Errea have even moved their logo from the front to the sleeves, to enhance the 59/60 look.

Wouldn't half look bad in the Premier!

I know, I know, its serious!

Love the Burnley kit.  Shame the modern boots spoil the look and he should have gone for a Brylcreamed centre parting!!

Actually, the Chelsea kit didn't look too bad on TV this morning.  Still won't be buying one though.
