I know it's a little after the fact now but I was a little surprised & disappointed at CC's treatment.

To sack him with so few games left seems silly, as whoever comes in isn't going to have time to change anything anyway.

It was a dumb move - might yet see them go down. Let's not have agreement break out here too often.

They want Lawrie Sanchez to keep them up. I don't think it matters who the manager is the draw they have isn't the easiest. Liverpool and Arsenal still to play its not going to be easy.

Coleman was too good looking to be a Prem manager. They need to be ugly. Sanchez should fit the bill.
New managers at the end of a season quite often do Hoodini acts with keeping their team in the league.
I feel sorry for Coleman - I think he did well with what he had to work with. Coleman rated Elliott too.

We football Managers know how hard it is to manage a football club and maintain appearances. Only an elite few of us are able to combine management of a successful club with stunning good looks.

We only need the Port Vale post now this evening and we've had all three pet topics in the space of a few dull minutes.

Well you'll be sticking to your forte of negative comments about anything you can think of.

Coleman will get the Wales job when Toshack goes after the soon to be confirmed unsuccessful attempt to qualify for Euro 2008.

Morinho is quite good looking, or so the wife says. Fat Sam is too, in a "sandblasted" sort of way. Curbishley is hideous, Paul Jewell looks like a bag of spanners but no-one can hold a candle to Iain Dowie, the thinking man's ugly bastard. Dowie's so ugly it kind of makes him good looking, in a perverse sort of way.

And I know Dowie's not in the Premiership right now - nor ever likely to be again while he remains at Coventry - but you simply cannot discuss ugliness without referring to the man. He sets the bar to an all-time high.
Nix, Leyton Orient and Alloa Athletic supporting schmuck.
