How good is this?

Fulham, trailing 3-1 to Juventus after the first leg in Turin, go behind 1-0 at Craven Cottage. They get three goals, so everything is a tie, and then Clint Dempsey produces this.

Really remarkable goal I think. Soccernet guy called it 'a goal of a lifetime'.

Love how it drops into the corner of the net, just perfectly.

Reeks of a mis-hit cross.

That was a mean game. Pity I had to go to school so missed the last bit.

Agree. Am yet to see him look up even prior to receiving the ball and spot the opportunity to chip the keeper far post. Miss-hit cross for Zamora at far stick.
Commentator on that clip even gives it "lovely ball across"

Great for Fulham. I bet their fans are loving the European nights at Craven Cottage.

They're playing Wolfsburg in the quarters. Should be a good tie.

Who'd've thunk it, Fulham beating Juve. They really could go all the way, Wolfsburg is a decent draw.
A few years back Wolfsburg's manager was a guy called Wolfgang Wolf. If you don't believe me, look it up.
Nix, Leyton Orient and Alloa Athletic supporting schmuck.
