It appears to me that once again SkyTV is up to its anti round ball tricks.  A quick look at Monday's schedule suggests there is no coverage of the traditional season opener, the Community Shield against MANU and Chelski.
 
Probably because it clashes with more reruns of rugby highlights, and wait for it .... cheerleading.  FFS, unbelieveable Sky!!

apparently it would interfere with a repeat of the Deaker Profiles.

We normally get it on ESPN here, Maybe they didnt secure the rights this year?

Might have thought it wasnt that important? Na surely a proper reason why its not on..

The english FA, not the premier league are the ones who have the broadcast rights to this game, so the last people to show any FA games in NZ was tvnz with the FA cup, maybe give them a email?

I shore you'll get plenty of chances to see the pretty boy millionaires again during the course of the coming season - unlike the proper fans of English football !!!
