Just in case any of the old Knights fans wanted to know... Deano Gordon is now playing for Ilkeston Town in the Unibond Premier, who will possibly be promoted to the Blue Square North.
Can remember him putting in some very honest and dilligent efforts for us back in the day. Had a chat with him not long ago and he spoke fondly of his time in NZ.

Yeh cheers Ben, he did play well in that last few months for the Knights, when 'we' were the form team in the comp.,, just before they chucked us out.

Was a fail indeed. I'll be honest though, I don't follow the old NPL Premier Division. Just figured it was some budget Auckland club he may've stayed on with after leaving the Knights.
