Dennis Wise quits Leeds for Newcastle

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

oh well, at least the media won't be able to accuse the management of "talking over the players' heads"

No truth in the rumour that Sneezy, Happy, Grumpy, Dopey and Sleepy are being signed to complete the management team.

shame Billy Bremner and Alan Ball have passed on

though Brian Flynn could still add a little bit to the backroom

Brian Flynn? Legend at Leeds and Burnley. I wonder how leeds will go now, having lost poyet & wise. i hope they still get promoted. their fans never deserved what the FW FL gin drinkers dished out.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Wow. From one shambles to another. Nice one.

Three for me, and two for them.

I'm disapointed. Wisey was doing such a good job at Leeds and I really hope it doesn't turn our fortunes around.

What a very strange career move by Wise.  He had it all going really well at Leeds where he could have become a legend if he had stuck with it and taken them up this year.  Love the geezer to bits but his brains are in his arse.  Will be interesting what Batesy has to say about this one given Wise is like a son to him.  Jose's Dog2008-01-30 17:55:22
