I found this interesting article. Personally, I hate Football Agents. IMHO they are a blight on the game and are responsibile for greed accerlating within the game.If a player hasn't got the nouse to read a contract like they did pre-1980 before signing it, then they need to go back to school.

Agents are evil S>O>B's and are only looking after thier own interests. If a player stays at a club for too long the agent gets antsy coz he ony gets a small bonus when negotiating a new contract as opposed to the HUGE payout they get as a percentage of thier players transfers. Thats why the papers are full of quotes from agents but very few from the players themselves.

A blight on the game but what can be done to stop them? You can't exactly make them illegal
I hate Gary Neville (ninth most capped English player ever - work that one out) but I do at least admire his agent-free stance.

Yes jam, but Neville (& I agree with your thoughts on him) has the nouse to be able to read a contract before signing it and honouring it like a real man.

well, there almost as money hungry as there players. however, with contracts not counting fo a lot theese days there pretty un needed.
