I find it bizzarely ironic that for once we in NZ can watch England vs Ukraine live (sun 5am ESPN) whilst if you live in the UK you are forced to watch it via the internet and pay for the priveldge.
This is the biggest mistake English broadcasters have ever made, as this will educate 10's of 1000's of people on things like Justin.tv, Iraqgoals & myp2p.eu .
You can already see people telling everyone how to use things like Sopcast & TVant & TVU on message boards discussing this.

Umm, Uber, I think you might find that there is another game on at 4.30 am that morning. Even as an Englishman I think my watching eyes will grace Sky Sport 1 instead. Thank god for MySky and I can record both games.
Its no longer a problem.

the funniest thing I have seen is something in paper about how this is the first england game that hasn't been televised.
All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

None of this would've happened if Sentanta din't go under. Its a one off occurrence that won't happen for another 10 years.

what is ironic about ESPN showing a game that is of very limited drama comparative to the other fixtures? It's typical I'd say.

It is odd that our game against Ukraine was added - originally the Ireland v Italy game was selected by ESPN. I would have thought that a more sensible one, with Italy looking to clinch and Ireland trying to take it to the final group game.
Agree Toffeeman, with our result meaning nothing, I watch the All Whites... but MySky enabled me to watch our defeat afterwards.
Don't know about you, but I don't really mind the defeat. I kinda prefer seeing Ukraine beat Croatia to the playoff spot and it should put a control on any over confidence in the England camp. It would have been nice to keep the winning streak, but I'm not particularly upset.
