Why are they all basically a variation on the same three tunes?

Example 1

"We're Man Utd, we do what we want"
"In Istanbul, we won it 5 times"
"We've got Arshavin, fuck Adebayor"

Example 2

"We are staying up, we are staying up"
"We are going up, we are going up"
"We are champions, we are champions"

Example 3

"Fernando Torres, Liverpool's number 9"
Almost every club has a version of this now.


How come there seems to be a complete lack of originality when it comes to football chants in England these days?

I don't know. The Arsenal fans were chanting "You're getting sacked in an hour" at the West Ham game
