Yes, most of us are of english descent but it doesn't take a genius

they rnt that good at all.
Manchester City since i started supporting football. Joey Barton

Thought they had the better of Liverpool at the weekend.
Leeds have one of the worst teams in this division this year. My
team Colchester United thrashed them. So if it has been poor its
partly Leeds fault.

Leeds lost 2-1 to Colchester at Elland Road the week before last and Leeds beat them 3-0 at their place earlier in the season.
I already know Leeds play crap football, I have actually spent many years wathcing them, but how much more bollox do you want to spout?danny2007-04-17 18:27:15
I'm afraid you may be the only one buddy, anyone support
Macclesfield town here?
City of course. Anyone else in NZ follow Exeter City? I can't be
the only one. Fifth place, scraping into the play-offs. tense as
ever. We missed out on the play-offs by a point for the last two
seasons so I'm sure we'll do that again this year.
I can say I /dodid. Lived in Devon for a while and went to their FA Cup tie vs Wolves way back when in the late 70's. Helluva game.
do you support them? AVFC villain, i vouch for them in the league 2
because crouchy was born there and hell, they have an awesome
nickname
At least I've seen some success in my time as a Villa fan, although the past few years under Doug Ellis have been somewhat lacking in the success stakes. However, with the new owner Randy Lerner, more money and Martin O'Neill in charge, I am very optimistic that we can have more success in the coming years. I think we're still some way off challenging for the Premiership and Champions League, but I believe that top six and UEFA Cup (maybe even Champs League) qualification will be possible in the next three years.
Been a Villa fan since about 1969/1970 when I was around 5 or 6
years old. I've also indoctrinated all three of my kids and
they're mad Villa fans as well now. (Sadly the wife's a Man
Utd. fan, but there's no accounting for taste is there?)
Worst team ever. sht fans. sht team.

Aye, aye bruv long
way frome home innit???
I agree, MK Dons are cheats along with the refs they pay off!
English descent supporting England? It's self
explanatory innit?
England are inhibited by the style they try and play, not the
players they put out...
They do have some good players, but even if they played differently
(e.g. tactically) there would still be a large number of teams out
there that are better than them.
Right manager with something about him will make it work.

As I've already said in the European one, I'm West Ham United
fan, kinda born into it.

Always been a Chelsea fan (yes - long before Roman and his
millions)
Worked for them in '99 and I trialled for Brighton years ago so have a soft-spot for them too...

Leeds fan. Season ticket holder right up until I left for
Wellington three weeks ago. Lived in the South for the past 20
years and still travelled home and away to see them whenever I
could. Sad, I know.
You know all those people who say the 'real' football is down in the lower leagues? Well they're talking bollox, it's sh!t down here in Div 2 (let's call like it really is shall we? championship my arse!) - this is the second time I've seen us go down, and if we're not careful we'll drop again - ah well - can't change your team!
I've never been one to have a 'second' team - don't care enough about any other club to even consider them (includes scottish or any european), but am really hoping all that is going to change in order to get me over my withdrawal symptons and to stop me staying up until 4am listening to the Leeds game on internet commentary!
So, am looking forward to start of the Phoenix's season, provding I don't have to watch ex-leeds player Danny Hay (again!). The few times he actually got selected for Leeds made sure I saw enough of him for one lifetime.danny2007-04-17 03:35:26

I have been a Millwall season ticket holder, for longer than
I care to remember.
We have been though a lot of bad times since I first
started following them as an 11 year old, but
I was there when :-
- we broke the longest unbeaten record
- finally made the old 1st Division
- went into receivership
- moved to the new ground
- got the Wembley record for the most fans supporting a league club
- made the FA cup final in 2004
- followed the team to Budapest to play Ferivarcous
However when alls said and done I supported my LOCAL club, home and away, unlike the glory boys in the premiership.
I'm now looking forward to supporting, my new local team
Wellington Pheonix.
Lets hope we can create an atmosphere, worthy of a
European football club.

Fair enough 2-1 is not a thrashing. My point was dont moan
about the quality of the division when your own team is not playing
well. I am impressed you continue your support through tough
times. Good luck in your promotion push next year.
I'm a Liverpool fan, been supporting them since I started watching
and playing footie in the mid 80's
Got to see a game at Anfield at the ned of '05, wasn't the best game, but they won

I support Liverpool, since year 2000, because I like there players like stevieg and John Arne Riise. Have never been to England but I really want to see a football match at Anfield.

I have been a Toon supporter since season 95/96.
I was always a football player/watcher, but when I went to London the boss of the pub I was in was a Geordie with a season ticket so got into it there.
have been learning how not to defend since....

Spurs .... 1979.....
Have followed Watford since 1983?, when they came 2nd in the first
division - they won the first game I ever saw on Big League Soccer.
Also I had a thing for not supporting my father's teams (he's a
Liverpool man).Lost track of them when they dropped down and TV
coverage in NZ became non-existent about the same time.
Switched to Arsenal in 1996 - first team I bet on when TAB started sports betting.
Also have been a season ticket holder at Gyeongnam FC since they debuted in the Korean league last year.

I'm sorry mate - you're definately the only one.
The silkmen? haha. No. Anyone support Notts County :p
Man Utd since 1981. I chose them when I got interested in football
as a kid. They were serious under-achievers in those days... Sirius

Arsenal since I was born. Cos my dad supports spurrs.
Leeds Utd ever since I can remember, even though born in the SE
SILKMEN OLE!
Glad to see another Macclesfield Town supporter .

There was an atricle about them in FourFourTwo recently as well
blackburn since i was born my granfather played with them
I can say I /dodid. Lived in Devon for a while and went to their FA Cup tie vs Wolves way back when in the late 70's. Helluva game.
Hmmm... Arsenal but initially because of Bergkamp and Overmars and
now because of Henry. I tend to go off teams that get players I
can't stand, mostly because of arrogance rather than skill. That's
what stopped me liking ManU when I was 13 and Real a few years ago.
I've never been to these places, so its not like I have personal
ties with the clubs or anything. I just like talented, fairplay and
team-orientated football. That's why I like Barce these days, and
why I'd like any team with Llarson in it ;)
Also support Gamba Osaka here (Osaka football is severely
underrated in Japan, considering all the money is in teams like
Urawa and Kashima Antlers). The fans here kick ass - jump up and
down for 90mins waving scarves like bras at a Tom Jones concert.
Need a little more beer involved, and its not often you get brawls,
but its still entertaining.
It is for Swansea supporters!

Yeah i support them :)! They are in a sh*tload of danger for
religation if Boston win. We are right on the verge of heading off
to conference football! C'mon silkmen, win farking!

VILLA VILLA VILLA VILLA!
Glad to see a Villian here, cant wait till we play the Brum
scum if they get promoted !
Cant wait till we play European football again and also win an
FA cup or a Carling Cup!
COME ON VILLA!!!
